Lori Ann Martin... Age 63

Lori Ann Martin age 63 of Osawatomie, KS died Thursday December 24, 2020 at Olathe Medical Center.

Lori was born March 31, 1957 in Clinton, MO. She was the sixth of eight children born to Harvey and Freda (Boydston) Schlesener. Lori grew up in Freeman, Missouri where she attended Cass Midway school district.

After school, Lori became a mother and stayed home to raise her children. Lori not only raised her biological children but other children also.

In 1994, Lori married Dennis Martin at the First Baptist Church in Osawatomie, KS. They made their home in Osawatomie.

In her spare time, Lori enjoyed playing games on her phone, watching her soap operas, Christmas shows and listening to Christmas music. She cross stitched for a short time. Lori’s favorite thing to do was play with her great grandchildren and hang out with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Sandra McKinney, daughter Brittany Martin, six grandchildren; Domanick Taylor, Johnna Feugate, Piper Sampel, Chase allen Jones, Gabe Martin, A. J. Pettinger and one great grandchild Dominnick Ott.

Survivors include husband Dennis Martin of the home, children; Melissa (Scott Pettinger) Casey of Osawatomie, KS, Henry (Erin) Feugate of Osawatomie, KS, Adam (Erica) Martin of Osawatomie , Joni (Clayton) Sampel of Olathe, KS, Denna (Chris) Jones of LaCygne, KS, Staci (Chris) Martin of Texas, Trina (Chris) Casey of St. Joseph, MO and Sonya Patton. Four brothers Gary Schlesener, David Schlesener, Rick Schlesener and Randy Schlesener. Two sisters Janie Sanders and Shannon Sams. Eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two on the way. Along with other family and friends.
