Marilyn (Walker) Berry was born June 26, 1954 in Chicago, Ill to the union of Louis Walker Sr. and Willa Mae Walker. In 1964, her mother and Step-father Hurbert Guilford Sr. moved the family to Osawatomie, KS.

Marilyn received her education in Osawatomie School District, Class of 1972. She was united in marriage to Jackie Berry Sr., (who preceded her in death). To this union they were blessed to have (4) children. Marla, Carla, Jackie Jr., and Kyla Berry.

Marilyn spent most of her life working in the health field with her 20 plus years at Holiday Manor, and another 14 years at the Miami County Hospital before retiring.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother Willa Mae Guliford, Grandmothers Barbera Lewis & Erma Baltizar. Sisters Angela & Lillian Walker, and a Grandchild Kyra Berry.

Marilyn Loved her Bingo nights, going to the casinos, her trips to Walmart, garage sales, but most of all, she loved her children, grand-children and her family.

She departed this life on June 29, 2021. Three days after celebrating her 67 ^th birthday.

She leaves to cherish her memory, (3 daughters, Marla Berry, Kyla Berry, and Carla Mansaw (Davie). A son, Jackie Berry Jr (Heather). (3) sisters, Wanda Freeman (Terry), Cynthia Walker, and Hope Thurman (Tim). (5) brothers Louis Walker Jr. (Mannie), Hurbert Guilford Jr (Kathy), Flloyd Guilford, Hurbert Guilford III (Naomi), and Wesley Harris. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family.

She also leaves a Dear friend Mrs. Gloria Anderson (Earnest and the rest of her Berry family and Black Ties Community.
