Michael John Edward Dykes.... Age 63

Michael John Edward age 6 3 of Edgerton, KS died Monday February 14, 2022 at Olathe Hospice House.

Michael was born December 11, 1958 in Montgomery, AL. He was the third of four children born to Johnnie Ray and Jeanne Marie (Wojick) Dykes. He grew up in Olathe, KS and graduated in 1976.

After high school, Michael went into the workforce. He started as a laborer for KW Underground and worked his way up to Foreman. Michael then went to work as a driver for Coors for a few years. He was a jack of all trades and had odds and end jobs until he started working for Deffenbaugh as a laborer.

Michael’s favorite thing was riding his 1997 Harley Fat Boy. He was a body builder and at one time he was Mr. Missouri. He also trained hunting dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughter Jesyka (Ryan) Stifter of Parker, KS, sisters Chris (Johnny) Huffman of Memphis, TN, Tammy Dykes of Virginia and Alicia Dykes of Edgerton, KS, two grandchildren Jenah Swearingen and Raygan Stifter and nephew Dudley Isom. Along with other family and friends.
