Michael was born November 19, 1987 in Olathe, Kansas. He was the oldest of six children born to Rex Wayne Luckey and Jeanell Paulette (Kester) Luckey-Kuder. He grew up in Osawatomie and attended school in the Osawatomie School district. Michael earned his GED thru Fort Scott Community College and then went on to get his Associates degree in Business. Michael became a father in 2013 to his son Bentley and then again in 2014 to his son Brayden.

While he was going to school Michael worked various jobs. Then after finishing school he started working for Wal-Mart Distribution Center as a FID Processor. His dream was to someday open his own business working on cars. He loved to rebuild and work on them. He competed in demolition derbies with cars that he had built.

Michael loved to watch sports. KU basketball, the Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs were among his favorite. He was very family oriented. He spent time with his family any chance that he got. Michael always wanted to host get-together’s not only with his family but with anyone that wanted to come. Michael enjoyed listening to music.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather Howard Luckey.

Survivors include two sons Bentley and Brayden, parents Rex (Karen) Luckey of Osawatomie and Jeanell Luckey-Kuder of Osawatomie, brothers Justin Luckey, Matthew Luckey and Tyler Luckey, Sisters Breaunna Judy and Cheyenne Luckey. Paternal Grandma Leona Luckey, Maternal Grandparents Homer and Elaine Cunningham.  Along with many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
