Nathaniel Conrad "Nate" Gross.... Age 38

Nathaniel Conrad “Nate” Gross age 38 of Parker, KS died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his home.

Nate was born October 8, 1982 in Overland Park, KS. He was the eldest of three children born to Aaron Ford and Regina Lee (Conrad) Gross. Nate attended school at Prairie View. Graduating with the Prairie View High School Class of 2001. While in high school, Nate participated in baseball, basketball, football, forensics and acted in a number of plays.

After high school, Nate attended Neosho County Community College where he played baseball for the Neosho County Panthers. While attending NCCC, Nate earned an Associates Degree. He played baseball for the KC Seminoles for a short time.  He then went to school at College of the Ozarks for two years where he also played baseball.

Nate then moved to Pittsburg, KS where he worked at Jock Snitch and for Cooseman’s Farm. He moved to Austin, TX where he worked at Top Golf. Then in 2016, Nate moved back home to spend time with his dad.

Nate loved coaching baseball. He always made people laugh, liked rapping and doing impressions. Nate had a magnificent vocabulary and memory. He could recite movie lines and lyrics to many songs. Nate was a very loving, social person and loved all of his family and friends. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church of Osawatomie.

He was preceded in death by his father Aaron Gross, paternal grandparents Jack W. and Marjorie D. Gross and maternal grandparents Clayton “Sam” and Alveta Conrad.

Survivors include his mother Regina Gross of the home, sisters Amanda (Derek) Grogan of Greeley, KS, and Amilee Gross of the home. Nephews Dalton, Martin, & Bentlee Grogan. Aunt Renee (Mike) Ross, Uncle Randy (Shawna) Conrad, Uncle James (Debbie) Gross, Aunt Brenda Winchester, Aunt Nancy (Ron) Day and Aunt Loretta (Jan) Longenecker. Along with other family and many friends.
