Patricia Ann Roberts... Age 73

Patricia (Pat) Ann Roberts age 73 of Paola, KS died Wednesday December 22, 2021 at her home.

Pat was born July 11, 1948 in Fort Worth, TX. She was the eldest of seven born to George and Flossie (Allen) Garner. Pat attended school in Turner school district.

On January 20, 1963, Pat and James Leslie Roberts were united in marriage in Abilene, TX. Together the couple had seven children; Leslie, Kelly, Tim, Joe, James, Renee and Leona. They made their home all over. From Texas to Kansas, Illinois and California.

Pat went to Cosmetology school and started working at Great Clips for 8 years. She then worked in the food service department at Olathe and Blue Valley School District. She also worked for Medical Lodge, Evergeen Nursing home and Life Care Center of Osawatomie. Pat was a “Jane of all trades”.

In her spare time, Patricia stayed active. She enjoyed watching her Chiefs, reading, playing cards, BINGO and crocheting. She loved going camping and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, sons, Joe and James Roberts, grandchildren, Shannon McRae, Laura Troncoso, and Ashely Roberts, sisters Viola Goodman and Lynda Gonzales.

Survivors include her children, Leslie Roberts of Salina, KS, Kelly Roberts( Rhonda Roberts) of Bucyrus, KS, Tim Roberts( Trish Spruytte) of Wellsville, KS, Renee Stickney( Randy Stickney)of Paola, KS and Leona Roberts(Ben Hughes) of Paola, KS. Brothers Larry Sommers( Gwen Sommers) Abilene, TX, Gary Sommers (Susan Sommers) of Wichita, KS and Lloyd Stanfield( Geraldine Stanfield )of Eula, TX, sister Laura Sue Stanfield of Abilene, TX; thirty four grandchildren, fifty nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Along with other family and friends.
