Patty Sue Eastman age 50 of Paola, KS died Thursday August 16, 2018 at her home.

Patty was born July 9, 1968 in Butler, MO. She was the youngest of five children born to Billy Leon and Pasty Ruth (McGown) Sollis. Patty grew up in Butler, MO.

On January 8, 1996, Patty became the mother to her son Logan Daniel Ogden. Logan was the light of Patty’s eye. She loved him more than anything.

Patty helped run a store on the Paola Square called the Dollar Shop for a few years. Then she went to work for various nursing homes as a CNA. Until, due to health reasons Patty had to stop working. In 2003. Patty married Alan Eastman and they made their home in Paola, KS. Patty was the perfect wife to Alan.

Family was very important to Patty and she loved family get togethers. She was known for speaking her mind and being very honest. Patty collected Coca-Cola memorabilia and liked Tasmanian devil.

She was preceded in death by her son Logan, her father Billy Sollis and infant brother Jerry Lee Sollis.

Survivors include husband Alan Eastman of the home, mother Pasty Gladfelder of Osawatomie, KS, sisters Rhonda Magee of Beagle, KS, Maryann Gorsage of Freeman, MO,  and Sherry Ross of Beagle, KS. Step-Son Chris (Tammy) Wolfley of Greensburg, KS. Grandchildren Naomi, Alex, Andrew, Brandon and Makayla Wolfley. Nephews Jeremy Sollis, Josh Gorsage and Brandon Gorsage, Nieces Angela Lea, Becky McGaughey, Jennifer Thompson, Kate Clinton and Stephanie Shasserre, and many great nieces and nephews. Along with other family and friends.
