Ralph Dee Burton age 61 of Parker, KS died Friday August 7, 2020 at Providence Medical Center.

Ralph was born August 6, 1959 in Appleton City, Missouri. He was the eldest of three children born to Ronald Lee and Glenna Rae (Etheridge) Burton. He grew up in Kearney, Missouri. Graduated from Excelsior Springs High School with the Class of 1977.

After high school, Ralph moved to Mound City to work at Diamond Development for four years. Then he went to work at the power plant for 2 ½ years. In 1984, Ralph went to work for KDOT as an equipment operator. After 36 years he retired. He then went to work as a Master carpenter for Tradesman International.

On October 14, 2000, Ralph and Rose Willey were united in marriage. They made their home in Linn and Miami County.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Burton.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Rose, Children John David Lane, Dwight Lane, Rebecca Lane, Jackie Burton and Ashley Gearhart. Mother Glenna Burton, brothers Ron Burton and Randy Burton. Seven grandchildren. Along with other family and many friends.
