Rebecca (Becky) Anderson (Reynolds) died at 68 in her home in Osawatomie, KS on Friday April 14 ^th 2023

Becky was born on June 25 ^th 1954 to Lewis A Reynolds Sr and Betty L Reynolds (Campbell) in Kansas City KS. She spent most of her childhood in Kansas City until her family moved outside of Ottawa KS and she graduated high school at Wellsville High before moving to Rantoul KS. That is where she met Ralph Wayne Anderson who lived in the Farmhouse next door. They were married on March 25 ^th 1976 in Ottawa, KS. She had a daughter, Mavis Wynette on June 26 ^th 1977 and then came her son, Caleb Yad on January 24 ^th 1981. Her family resided in Osawatomie, KS until the passing of her husband Wayne in 1982.

As a young girl she was in the marching band at her high school, wanted to be a Veterinarian when she grew up but circumstances prevented her from going after her dream career. She spent her adult life raising her 2 children and working odd jobs, sometimes 2 at a time to make ends meet. Becky was always there for everyone she knew, whether related by blood, marriage or not related at all. She would never say “No” to helping someone in need. Becky retired from Quest Diagnostics in 2016 where she worked as a Data Entry Clerk for over 15 years. She began taking care of her daughters Mother-in-law. Sharon Pride in 2021 after she had a stroke that left her paralyzed on the right side. She was there everyday fussin’ and fightin’ with Sharon to eat, do her exercises, drink water and on and on they’d go.

She was the best person I have known in my lifetime and she will be forever in my heart. I’ll carry her love with me wherever I go, because I know she would want us all to carry on and remember her and her sassy self.
