Ronda Gay Chase age 60 of Osawatomie, KS died Sunday June 23, 2019 at Olathe Medical Center.

Ronda was born October 28, 1958 in Paola, KS. She was born to Gerald Otis and Peggy Doreen (Padget) Chase. She grew up in Osawatomie where she attended school.

Right out of high school, Ronda worked as a waitress at Doc’s Restaurant in Osawatomie. Then whe went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. She started as a brakeman in the yards at Kansas City and then became a conductor. Ronda worked for the railroad for 15 years.

Ronda and Timothy R. Petrie together had one son, Matthew. Ronda loved horses and dogs. Ronda loved her Coca Cola.

She was preceded in death by Timothy Petrie.

Survivors include her son Matthew Petrie of Osawatomie, KS, her parents Gerald and Peggy Chase of Paola, KS, two brothers Gary Chase of Colorado and Chad Chase of Paola, KS. Along with other family and friends.
