Russell Daley “Rusty” Snider age 62 of Richmond, KS died December 13, 2021 at his home.

Rusty was born July 4, 1959 in La Jolla, CA. He was the eldest of two born to Roy Dolah and Linda Lee (Thomas) Snider. He grew up in California and then moved to Osawatomie when he was in 6 ^th grade.

After high school, Rusty went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad as a lineman for a number of years. He then went to work in construction. Rusty was a part of building the Hillsdale Dam and the glass plant in Spring Hill. He then worked for Tech Air before he bought a water hauling business. In the early 2000’s, Rusty was in an accident and had to stop working.

In June of 1979, Rusty married Marla Page. They had two children Dustin and Dawn. The marriage ended in divorce. Rusty then married Terri Johnson. To this union came two children; Danielle and Brett. The marriage later ended in divorce. On February 19, 2000, Rusty and Rose Brady were united in marriage in Paola, KS. He also gained a son William.

In his spare time, Rusty loved motorcycles, woodworking and fishing. He always kept busy and was a jack of all trades.

He was preceded in death by his father Roy Snider, his grandparents  Roy ( Pop) and June Snider, and Uncle Ralph  Snider.

Survivors include his wife Rose of the home, his children Dustin Snider of Harrisonville, MO, Dawn Snider Weiss of Overland Park, KS Danielle Snider of Osawatomie, KS, Brett (Kurrie) Snider of Atchison, KS and William Conner of Richmond, KS, sister Teresa Snider of Osawatomie, KS, thirteen grandchildren; Trinton, Chloe, Adelynn, Lyric, Mikala, Charlee, Mason, Drighton, Mari-lynn, Ayanna, Annabelle, Armani and Leo, Aunt Winona Snider and Uncle Danny Snider both of Paola, KS. Along with lots of cousins, other family and friends.
