Samuel Loren Tinsley age 56 of Ottawa, KS died June 30, 2022 at Menorah Medical Center.

Samuel was born February 8, 1966 in Paola, KS. He was the youngest of five born to Joseph Edward and Edna Marie (Stephens) Tinsley. He grew up in Paola where he attended school and earned his GED.

Most of his life, Samuel was a truck driver. He moved to Florida to drive a truck. While in Florida, Samuel and Christine were married in 1998. To this union cam their daughter Alexis. The marriage later ended.

In his free time, Samuel enjoyed fishing, parting and cooking out. He was a people person and always invited his neighbors over for BBQ’s. He loved hanging out with his daughter Alexis and grandson Kasen.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Tinsley.

Survivors include his daughter Alexis Tinsley of Osawatomie, grandson Kasen Smith of Osawatomie, mother Edna Tinsley of Osawatomie, sisters Debra Deason of Texas and Loretta Smith of Paola, brother Joe Tinsley of Utah and Don Tinsley of Tennessee. Along with other family and friends.
