Sheryl Rae Brewer..... Age 62

Sheryl Rae Brewer age 62 of Osawatomie, KS died Saturday April 16, 2022 at Olathe Hospice House.

Sheryl was born April 23, 1959 in Paola, KS. She was one of three daughters born to Wilbur Dean and Judith Marcella (Ziegler) Parker. She grew up in Osawatomie graduating with the Class of 1977.

After high school, Sheryl married Tom Brewer in 1982 and they moved to Oklahoma until 1985 when she moved back to Osawatomie and had her son Travis. Two years later she had her daughter Tracy. The marriage later ended in divorce in 1996.

Sheryl worked at Miami County Medical Center for 14 years in the scheduling department. She then transferred to Olathe Medical Center and worked in medical records for 16 years until retiring in 2016. Sheryl worked at Dollar General part-time.

In her spare time, Sheryl loved hanging out with her family. During football season you could find Sheryl watching the Chiefs game with a cigarette in her hand.

She was preceded in death by her father Wilbur Parker, sister Marcella Bennett and niece Chelsea Bennett.

Survivors include her children Travis (Nickie) Brewer of Osawatomie, KS, and Tracy Brewer of Osawatomie, KS. her mother Judith Parker of Osawatomie and sister Patty (Allen) Brown of Osawatomie, KS, grandchildren Tucker Fennel, Jaden and Jordyn Brewer. Niece Nikki DeLeon and nephew Ray Brown. Along with other family and friends.
