William Eugene "Bill" Shadden age 61 of Osawatomie, Kansas died Thursday, August 26th 2021 at his home.
Bill was born April 28th 1960 at Fort Scott Kansas. He was the oldest of four children born to Raland Eugene and Wanda Lou (Joles) Shadden.
On September 24,1976, Bill married Debbra Kay Hackler in Linn County. They lived in Prescott, KS where they welcomed their first child Lisa. They then moved to Osawatomie to their home and welcomed their next three children Billy, Jessica and Justin.
Bill was the owner/operator of Bill's Septic in Osawatomie. Bill worked in the industry for the family business in his teen years and then opened his own as an adult.
Bill enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids in any sport or activity they were involved in. He supported the local sport teams. Bill listened to country music and loved hearing his wife sing. They would go to the Opry in Paola, Rough Ol' Honky Tonks and even got to become friends with a few country music legends and spent time in Nashville. He loved watching old westerns, the Walton's and the Pickers. Bill, his son in law Dan his and grandson Daniel liked going to flea markets and finding their own treasures. He was a jokester and loved to tease the kids. Bill was one of the most generous people and has given so much to so many. He would give you the shirt off his back. Bill was passionate when watching the kids play ball and race, and sometimes that passion got him kicked out of the game!
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Debbie of the home, his children Lisa (Dan) DeLeon, Billy (Alexis) Shadden, Jessica (Tristan) Geiger and Justin Shadden. Grandchildren, Ashley (Alex) Stookey, Daniel (Kayleigh) DeLeon, Alyssa Shadden, Reagan Shadden and Kieran Shadden and one great grandson Henry DeLeon. Siblings: Annette, Anita and Diane. Along with other family and many friends.
